As the Summer days draw to near the end
And life's roads will take whatever bend
You are thirsty for Pong in a Summer so dry
Yet realize Fall's turning is just about nigh
Pong will commence more strongly in the Fall
A parched pong Summer was a nemesis to us all
Come Forth - All the great Pong Players of the time
Fall semester will happen just in time for the rhyme
Out, Out brief candle of summer -- this scorcher is gone far
Pong Players now come from places near and from afar
Looper and hitters, and all those who can attack
But even recreational players while eating a Big Mac
Come one, come all - to Pong playing so fine
Then consider the wisdom of the poetry line
In jest we say - "Watch out for the stick of bamboo"
Fall will bring Pong most rejuvenated, born anew
The Old, the Young, and the choppers too
Will come out with a fiery spirit brand new
Watch and anticipate as this is about to unfold
Gather the excitement both Young and Old
