The Sunken Treasure Of Long Pips

The no spin balls are in flight and glide over a fine Pong table
While loopers and hitters deal with the plight as they are able
Flutter and nothingness to the Captain seem utterly most divine
Would long pips ever show themselves on a blade that was mine?
Would a Piper of Pong who has vividly cursed the pips so long
Ever indulge them for stolen bliss, and if so -- would it be wrong?
Like the bolted, latched chest of a dirty Pirate’s Sunken Treasure
Do long pips make "gold" by enhancing a Ponger beyond measure?
The Pied Piper of Pong confesses to long pips at a time in the past
Does that mean the Pied Piper did indeed raise the Pirate’s mast?
The newfound Seas will have the Piper using only rubber indeed inverted
And to spinny rubber the Pied Piper’s Pong for now will be fully converted
Not even one side of the Piper’s blade will be adorned with pips so long
Should the "Sunken Treasure of Long Pips" be written into a Pirate song?
Perhaps someday a song this will be – but now just a poem of the Great Sea
Should I curse with verse the Captain --- would the spin reverse and curse me?
